While Elinor is already an excellent leader – wise and unyielding to the pressures of her role – she tends to see things from a black and white perspective. Behind closed doors, she does everything to make sure the land remains peaceful by bartering trades, tending to the kingdom's needs, and even offering her daughter for an arranged marriage. Yet, even though the war is over, the four tribes are far from peaceful, and Elinor takes it upon herself to ensure there won't be another war under her rule. If it hadn't been for Fergus uniting the four clans, DunBroch wouldn't have existed. Prior to being the Queen of DunBroch, Elinor was no stranger to war.
